Our Story
The Vitapointe® story begins in 1998, when our founder, Amanda Jones, struggled to find hair products that could tackle her naturally curly locks. Frustrated with damage from harsh chemicals and lackluster results, Amanda set out to develop safe, effective formulas in her own kitchen. Her background as a chemist allowed her to experiment with combining potent natural extracts like aloe vera, shea butter, and avocado oil.
When Amanda shared her creations with friends and family, the response was overwhelmingly positive. Everyone raved about how these products transformed their hair. More manageable, softer, shinier – the difference was undeniable.
Empowered by the enthusiastic feedback, Amanda made the bold decision to turn her homemade concoctions into a full-fledged hair care line. She meticulously formulated a collection of shampoos, conditioners, leave-in treatments, styling products, and more with clean, nourishing ingredients. In 2002, Vitapointe® was officially launched out of Amanda’s garage, where it all began.
